Nehru Memorial Museum & Library (NMML) Digitization Project
Established in the year 1964 in the memory of Indian’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, the Nehru Memorial Museum Library (NMML) is a unique institution established by the Indian Ministry of Culture. Located in Teen Murti House, NMML houses a Library on modern India, Memorial Museum, and Centre for Contemporary Studies. It also houses an extensive collection of books, manuscripts, periodicals, oral history and photographs pertaining to various materials associated with the Indian National Movement. The museum and library contains relevant information on microfilms, microfiches, photographs, and manuscripts, some of these sources date back to 200 years into the contemporary history of India. NMML has approached TSCPL to be the Bid Managers for the digitization of their Archives comprising of over 40 million records and materials.
